Dear Supporters,

Please find enclosed our progress and activity report of the last 5 months. An interesting collaboration with Rotary London District is building up besides exploration of innovative methods to cool the climate chaos. Project leaders and key partners also got an opportunity to discuss progress and plans directly with IAHV co-founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.  In this report, you'll also see IPCC's latest on climate science and how the reforestation is changing lives in the communities it dirctly engages with. To mention a  few other highlights - women make up 50% of the workforce, innovative methods being explored for transplantaion of saplings in Madagascar and Mozambique, and the importance of and expertise around seed collection in the restoration process in Brazilian sites.

We'd love to hear your feedback. Most importantly, THANK YOU for your crucial support!

Best Regards

Shailen Mittal

Thanks to IAHV’s generous donors, friends, and CSR partners, in the last 3 months we have funded planting of 38,598 new trees at Eden reforestation sites.  A major benefit is the 385 days of paid work these trees create for families in extreme poverty.  Because extreme poverty means people were previously earning less than $1.90 a day."

These trees in total should remove around 4,825 Tonnes of CO2

Along with our strategic partner Saving Our Planet, IAHV project in total, has planted 699,260 trees and created around 6,994 days of paid work.

Our next big goal is 1 million trees!

Thanks to IAHV’s generous donors, friends, and CSR partners, in 2022 so far we have funded planting of 64,629 new trees at Eden reforestation sites.  A huge benefit is the 646 days of paid work these trees create for families in extreme poverty.  Extreme poverty means people were previously earning less than $1.90 a day.

This progress has taken our total tree planting count to 599,353 trees along with our strategic partner Saving Our Planet.  Our next big goal is 1 million trees!   The project Teams is under a reset. Time to join in and help mitigate Global warming and care for the Environment.

Hello Friends

We are excited to share two key highlights

1- next month we would hit the landmark goal of planting HALF  A MILLION trees.

2- our project was represented at the UNFCCC summit COP26 in Glasgow earlier this month the delegation was with our partner NOC02 and Saving Our Planet. Charles Appleby  conducted daily webinars inviting COP26 delegates to share the energy and the messaging of the event, the pavillons and the live updates from the conference. The series labelled Max 1.5 degree has been published on their facebook page.

Please read about our experiences, observations and the impact of striking alliances towards our goals. We welcome your feedback and continued monetary support. CAN DO, IF WE ACT NOW.

Thank you
