Hemos dado grandes pasos para conseguir este sueño llamado CEII Caminitos

Desde inicios de este año se han producido grandes avances en el sueño de construir nuestro CEII Caminitos, se empezó con la construcción del cerramiento del área perimetral del terreno en maya eslabonada y muro, que ahora ya está terminado, los 2.100 metros cuadrados del CEII quedaron encerrados, para brindar seguridad a nuestros niños. Además, la nivelación del terreno que lo deja preparado para las obras futuras. También se adecuó y se dotó la cocina para dar inicio al programa Barriguitas llenas, que alimentará a los niños que se encuentran vinculados al CEII.

Agradecemos su apoyo con el que hemos podido seguir adelante desarrollando este proyecto ambicioso y de gran impacto en la comunidad de la ciudad de Cali.

We have taken great steps to achieve this dream called CEII Caminitos

Since the beginning of this year there have been great advances in the dream of building our CEII Caminitos, it began with the construction of the enclosure of the perimeter area of the land in mesh and wall, which is now finished, the 2,100 square meters of the CEII were enclosed , to provide security to our children.

In addition, the leveling of the land that leaves it prepared for future works. The kitchen was also adapted and equipped to start the Full Tummies program, which will feed the children who are linked to the CEII.

New Music program/Nuevo programa musical

Guitarras compradas

¡Comenzaron las clases de música!

En el CEII Caminitos, desde el mes de abril se abrió la convocatoria para que los niños que desearan incursionar en el mundo musical tuvieran la oportunidad de tener clases de piano, guitarra, flauta y percusión, conformando el grupo musical Los del Caminito y cuyo profesor es un voluntario que con mucha vocación de servicio y amplia trayectoria como músico y hábil saxofonista, guiará a los niños en esta nueva etapa.

36 niños atendieron al llamado y gracias a una actividad realizada este fin de semana donde se vendió un plato típico de la gastronomía Colombiana, pudimos comprar las primeras 2 guitarras y 4 flautas que junto a otros instrumentos suministrados por el profesor son un buen inicio para motivar a los niños.

Estaremos activos en la labor de fortalecer el programa para que los niños puedan tener una formación musical que los motive a continuar en el camino del arte.

Esperamos contar con su apoyo, para poder adquirir más instrumentos musicales como: un bajo eléctrico, batería, 2 pianos, completar 4 guitarras acústicas,1 congas,1 bongo, 1 campana de mano y palo, 1 maracas, y 1 clave, que permitan que cada niño pueda mejorar su destresa en el instrumento de su preferencia.

Music classes have started!

In the CEII Caminitos, since April the call was opened so that children who wish to venture into the musical world had the opportunity to enjoy piano, guitar, flute and percussion lessons, forming the musical group Los del Caminito and whose teacher is a volunteer who, with a great dedication to service and extensive experience as a musician and skillful saxophonist, will guide the children in this new stage.
36 children responded to the call and thanks to an activity carried out this weekend where a typical dish of Colombian cuisine was sold to the community, we were able to buy the first 2 guitars and 4 flutes which, together with other instruments provided by the teacher, are a good start to motivate the children.

We will be active in the work of strengthening the program so that children can have musical training that motivates them to continue on the path of the arts.

We hope to have your support, to be able to acquire more musical instruments such as: an electric bass, drums, 2 pianos, complete 4 acoustic guitars, 1 congas, 1 bongo, 1 hand bell and stick, 1 maracas and 1 key, which allow each child can improve their skill in the instrument of their choice.

Grandes Avances! / Great Progress

Hemos empezado con la preparación del terreno para contruir sobre base firme la nueva sede del CEII en Cali.

Al haber comprado con tu ayuda, el terreno en el que se encuentra el CEII, el cual cuenta con una construcción antigua y despúes de adecuar las actuales instalaciones a las necesidades del Centro de Enseñanza, hemos empezado a avanzar en la adecuación del terreno para lo que será nuestro complejo de Enseñanza Integral Infantil.

Estamos ubicados en lo alto de una montaña de la comuna 18 de la ciudad de Cali, esta altura que nos trae oportunidades de impacto en la sociedad y tambien retos de construcción que estamos enfrentando con gran responsabilidad y proyección hacia lo que necesita nuestra comunidad. Para cuidar los linderos y brindad seguridad a la comunidad hemos construido un muro de contención que mantendrá firme la tierra sobre la cual se levantará nuestro ambicioso proyecto. Tambien hemos demolido algunas de las antiguas estructuras y procedimos a remover esos escombros y a compactar el terreno.

Estamos felices de traerles estas noticias que son de gran impacto, porque gracias a ustedes hemos dado este gran paso para empezar a levantar sobre una base firme y duradera nuestro (suyo y de nuestra comunidad) el Centro de Enseñanza Integral Infantil - CEII Caminitos.

We have begun with the preparation of the land to build on a firm foundation the new headquarters of the CEII in Cali.

Having bought, with your help, the land on which the CEII is located, which had an old construction and after adapting the current facilities to the needs of the Teaching Center, we have begun to advance in the adaptation of the land for where our Comprehensive Infant Education complex will be.

We are located on top of a mountain in commune 18 of the city of Cali, this height brings us opportunities to impact society but also construction challenges that we are facing with great responsibility and projection towards what our community needs. To take care of the boundaries and provide security to the community, we have built a retaining wall that will keep the land firm on which our ambitious project will be built. We have also demolished some of the old structures and proceeded to remove that debris and compact the ground.

We are happy to bring you this news that is of great impact, because thanks to you we have taken this big step to start building our (yours and our community's) Comprehensive Children's Teaching Center - CEII Caminitos, on a firm and lasting foundation.
