Entendiendo la importancia de la salud mental y en pro de disminuir el impacto psicológico y sobre todo promover la prevención de situaciones que vulneran la integridad emocional de los niños, se buscó el apoyo de la facultad de psicología de la Universidad San Buenaventura de la ciudad de Cali, teniendo como resultado el acompañamiento de 3 psicólogas que realizan su practica social con enfoque comunitario y que desde agosto a traves de un ejercicio diagnóstico, se han encargado abordar las situaciones relevantes que aquejan a los niños del CEII y a sus familias, para proceder a formular e implementar talleres que empoderar y dan herramientas a los niños para tener una mente saludable con su autoestima fortalecida. Este nuevo aporte nos acerca a proporcionar la atención integral que le permitirá tener herramientas para vivir con equilibrio y aportarle a un mejor futuro.

Understanding the importance of mental health and in order to reduce the psychological impact and, above all, promote the prevention of situations that violate the emotional integrity of children, support was sought from the psychology faculty of the San Buenaventura University in the city of Cali, resulting in the support of 3 psychologists who carry out their social practice with a community focus and who since August, through a diagnostic exercise, have been in charge of addressing the relevant situations that afflict the CEII children and their families, to proceed to formulate and implement workshops that empower and give children tools to have a healthy mind with strengthened self-esteem.
