This project will keep an average of 200 children away from crime and felony that surrounds them, by building an Educational Center in Cali, Colombia in a high risk social area where they live. These children will be able to use their after school time Developing Talents in areas such as music, sports and arts that will offer them a better future by enhancing their life projects with professional guidance and love.
Cali is the 28th most dangerous city in the world and the boys and girls that live in high social risk areas are being induced to participate on any type of criminal activities as an option to escape from poverty. Our "Children Center for Integral Education " (CEII for its initials in Spanish) is focused in the development of a transformation and coexistence process applied to these conflicted areas and so, contributing to a sustainable peace.
The Center will help boys and girls develop talents such as arts, music and sports in their leisure time. During this time the Center will also provide nutrition and offer homework aid with specialized tutors for a complete and integral solution to their social needs.
The Center will offer different recreational and cultural activities for at least 200 boys and girls to get the most out of their leisure time, therefore changing their mindset in order to escape from the vicious circle in which poverty and violence traps them and instead, help them develop life projects that will guide them to achieve peace and prosperity,
