2026 has been a year of significant progress for Teach by Tech. Despite an increasingly challenging funding environment, our organization continues to expand opportunities for refugees, immigrants, and other underserved adults seeking economic mobility through workforce development and digital inclusion. We are grateful for the support of our donors, whose generosity has allowed us to strengthen our programs, expand partnerships, and invest in long-term sustainability.
Construction Pathways Program
Our Construction Pathways Program continues to demonstrate strong outcomes as participants gain the skills, certifications, and confidence needed to enter Colorado's growing construction workforce.
Our participants have completed hands-on training in construction fundamentals using the NCCER Core curriculum while earning industry-recognized credentials, including OSHA 10 certification. Beyond technical instruction, students developed workplace communication skills, practiced teamwork, and gained exposure to employer expectations through real-world projects. Our completion rate is an impressive 84%.
One of our greatest accomplishments has been strengthening the bridge between training and employment. We have expanded relationships with construction companies, subcontractors, and workforce organizations that are committed to hiring skilled, diverse talent. These partnerships are creating meaningful employment opportunities while helping employers address ongoing workforce shortages.
Digital Literacy Program
Digital skills remain one of the most significant barriers to employment and community integration for many of the individuals we serve. Our Digital Literacy Program continues to provide participants with essential technology skills needed for today's workforce.
Students strengthened their abilities in computer fundamentals, internet navigation, email communication, online safety, and workplace technology while earning nationally recognized digital literacy credentials. Over 90% of aprticipants have received at least 1 credential. These skills not only improve employment opportunities but also increase participants' confidence in accessing healthcare, education, financial services, and community resources independently.
The combination of digital literacy instruction and career-focused workforce training continues to provide participants with a strong foundation for long-term success.
A New Home for Growth
One of the most exciting milestones this quarter has been securing a new training facility that will serve as Teach by Tech's permanent workforce development and skilled trades training center.
This new space represents much more than a larger building. The facility will allow us to expand hands-on construction training, develop our woodworking social enterprise, provide transitional employment opportunities, and create a welcoming environment where participants can learn, build, and prepare for meaningful careers.
Thank you
Every milestone achieved this quarter has been made possible through the generosity of supporters like you. Your investment is helping refugees and immigrants gain valuable skills, secure employment, support their families, and become active contributors to Colorado's workforce and economy.
Thank you for believing in Teach by Tech's mission and for helping create lasting pathways toward opportunity, dignity, and economic independence.
