New Graduation CAPTA, thanks to all!

We are already at the end of September and a new graduation, #44 from Panama City, has culminated! We really feel so emotional for the accomplishments we will achieve in our community. We see us as a strong organization and well prepared for continuing with our new projects and goals.

We have experienced big moments with this group of 25 women. From the emotions of the beginning to the goodbye in the end, we have shared a lot of emotional moments, diversion, reflection, sadness and moments with lots of love and affection by all. We are happy to know, that the new graduated are forming a part of our family. Despite the fact that they will start working, they will always be an active part of our foundation in our workshops and classes, that are made for our ex-participants.

In the last graduation, the chosen one for making the speech in the end for our donors and the Calicanto-family is Angela, the same woman, that has known the report before. Her partners and teachers accompany her and she talked about what this opportunity means to get a new life. In the following, you can read her speech, surely, full with emotions and gratitude to your donors and the foundation:

“Very good afternoon Directorate Teachers and all partners.

My name is Ángela, member of the actual CAPTA promotion #44.

I was entering the program because of my sister saying that she has read about CAPTA in Facebook. She was the one who has convinced me to go to the enrollment on 25th July.

I decided to join the program because when I descried what it was about, I saw a big opportunity for me, because I have dreams and I want to achieve my aims, and this program has given me their support to attain each one of them and to make a difference in my life, both, personal and familiar.

Before I entered CAPTA I would have been describing myself as disorientated and negative, but today I am a CAPTA woman, I know where I come from and where I will go. I am always thinking positively since I have learned to adapt myself, to manage my emotions and to communicate assertively with others.

What I liked the most of these 7 weeks was meeting the other women with the same desire as me, fighting women with desire for improvement, strong and brave, which I admire and respect a lot. Even though, there are always obstacles in our way we must know how to persist.

The difficulty for me was to get out of my comfort zone and I had to challenge myself. It was not easy all the time, but I managed it. I am very grateful to all our donors, because only of each one of you, this promotion #44 was fulfilled with great success, just as the previous ones had been fulfilled.

I wish many blessings to all the next participants of this program and I hope that they will have a great success during this process of 7 weeks.

I have made a very good experience during the practice, I have learned a lot of new things, which will be positive and necessary to contribute in the labor market. Finding a good job is a new goal to achieve, which will be the fundament for realizing my dreams. This I have learned during the theatre-classes, which was one of the best classes the program CAPTA is offering. It is formed with excellent teachers and volunteers, which help us to be good women.

Because CAPTA changes families, communities and can change a whole country, too. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.”
