Project Update July 2026

By Peter Kojo Amoabil | Project Leader

Dear Valued Donors and GlobalGiving Supporters,

Thank you for your continued belief in our mission to bring reading and learning to children in rural Ghana. Your support is making a real difference.

Recent Highlights

200 Copies of "Tales of African Women Trailblazers" Donated.

We are grateful to Natasha Agarwal (UPenn student and literacy activist) and BelieveNBooks for donating 200 copies of her inspiring book. It shares stories of 21 African women trailblazers and is now being enjoyed by students at Kanvilli Nuriya Primary School, especially the girls, who see powerful role models in its pages.

After-School Literacy Programme Ongoing

Our weekly after-school tuition at Kanvilli Nuriya Primary continues to strengthen reading, writing, and English skills for dozens of children. Teachers and parents are already seeing improved confidence and performance.

Looking Ahead.

With your support, we aim to expand book donations and tuition sessions to more communities. We still face funding challenges to reach additional schools, so every contribution helps.

Every dollar goes directly to books, tutors, and materials.

Thank you from the Rural Literacy Solutions team and our beneficiaries. Your partnership is building a brighter and a more literate future.
