Moodlebox Box for Digital Literacy in Project Schools: Progress Report

Introduction:

This progress report gives an update on the Moodlebox box for digital literacy implementation in two of our project schools. The project's goal is to give students access to digital literacy tools and materials that will help them enhance their academic performance and prepare them for future employment opportunities.

Current Status of the Project:

We have purchased two Raspberry Pi 400 devices, as well as 30 tablet and phone devices, since the project began. These devices have been handed to the two project schools, and teachers have been educated on how to use the Moodlebox box in their classrooms for digital literacy. Students are currently using the gadgets in their classrooms, and we have received great feedback from both teachers and students.

Achievements:

Since its inception, the project has reached several significant milestones. These are some examples:

Purchase and distribution of digital gadgets: We purchased two Raspberry Pi 400 machines as well as 30 tablet and phone devices for distribution to project schools. This has given pupils access to digital literacy resources that they would not have had otherwise.

Teacher training: We have trained teachers in the project schools on how to use the Moodlebox box in their classrooms to promote digital literacy. This has aided in the development of their abilities and confidence in the use of digital technologies in the classroom.

Positive feedback: We have gotten positive feedback on the effectiveness of the Moodlebox box for digital literacy from teachers and students. Teachers have observed that as a result of employing digital gadgets, pupils are more interested in their classes and producing higher-quality work.

Challenges:

The project has also encountered a number of difficulties, including:

Limited resources: Due to the project's limited resources, it has been difficult to offer gadgets to all children who require them and to extend the programme to all of our project schools.

Conclusion:

Since its inception, the Moodlebox box for digital literacy project has achieved good development. We provided digital devices to the project schools and taught teachers on how to properly use them in the classroom. We have also received great feedback on the effectiveness of the gadgets from teachers and kids. We will continue to work to overcome the project's issues, and we are certain that we will continue to improve kids' digital literacy skills.
