Dear Donors,
Its been a productive year thanks to our supporters. Now we have a biodegradable pad company in Kenya and one in India. The pad companies are run by women who have been marginalized and in the case of the pad company in India, the woman had been forced into the sex trade and are now making a living in an environment that shows them respect for the hard work they are doing.
The machinery has the capacity to make 1,000-3.000 a day so the women are not painstakingly making pads by hand but working on a higher level that helps them feel accomplished and proud of their efforts.
When you donate, your funds buy pads from women who work with the local NGO to provide pads for girls who would not be able to attend school consistently unless they have the protection required to confidently sit through class.
We are most appreciative of those of you who have committed to a small monthly amount. This keeps the program serving the neediest with confidence that girls in need will not be denied. Each one of you contributes collectively to girls' well being.
Thank you
