There are still weekly activities every weekend, and we also attend some run activice and races. But I want to tell you this special race and activity.
On 2017 Jun.3rd, Shanghai Nike Kids Run, a group of visually impaired children, who came from Shanghai Blind School attend this race, just as anyother unimpaired children, they run with Guiders from beYoureyeS, enjoy the happiness of running.
From May, four beYoureyeS visually impaired trainer began one month running training for Shanghai Blind School children, two lessens once a week. On May 24, there was a special student attend our lessen —— Liu Xiang, A boy with sunshine smile, the most famous 110-metre hurdles athlete in China, Olympic gold medalist.
We arranged training lessen on: 1) How to be a visually impaired runners' guide, 2) How to provide support for visually impaired people, 3) Experience runnning in the dark.
We hope we can influnce people, we can influence top athlete, by reflecting him, reflecting more and more young people.
We want to change the mind that disabled people cannot attend sports races. Change the mind from younger people. Change the future.
If you have a body, you are an Athlete!
If you are an athelte, you can be the Change!
Just do it!
Appreciate Nike Activity School project. The change is on the way.
