On Sep.17, 2016, beYoureyeS team take part into a triathlon race in Shanghai, four groups participate 57 km relay race; one group won the second prize of good grades. During the triathlon game, one of the visually impaired runners Xuehui said: “Since I come to the race, take my race number and run with my guide runners. At that moment, I just feel, the weather is really wonderful, I can feel the straight and strong sunlight, ran to 3 km has been sweating a lot. But when I run slowly down, hearing the wind blew over the ears, with the singing of birds twittering inside the trees, I still feel my breath evenly and feel the forward continuously the pace of the rhythm. I suddenly feel, the result is not important at all, the result is no longer a target, at the moment, happiness and freedom to run in the beautiful lake is the real enjoyment.”
On the same day, we participate another race in Beijing. It is our another visually impaired runner, Chenhui's first full Marathon, his finish time is 4:30:40. Our team is a fully prepared team, six guide runners to run with one visually impaired runner. We run as a team, pass water, steady pace, gentle breathing but always engraved in the ears sounded crisp encourage sound. "Pass the visually impaired runner", confident sound and gentle smile to all the runners who pass by. "This is strong running! This is a meaningful game!" – A runner said so.
