To make the community aware about the importance of Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), ECCA organized 2-days orientation in Glauthok village located in ward no. 12 of Rapti Municipality, Chitwan in south central Nepal. The orientation focused on the use of safe drinking water, water purification methods, personal hygiene, menstrual hygiene management, and other practical aspects of sanitation and hygiene. During the orientation, the participants were taken for observation visit to the nearby school toilet, which was also built with the support from ECCA. The number of participants were 23.
One of the participant Ms. Niti thanked ECCA for making her and other villagers aware on such important issues.
