2025/2026 Academic Year – Snapshot
Theme: The Beauty That Unites Us
Who We Reached:
42 Ukrainian households (50 children, 23 adults) benefited from our programs.
15 adults attended English and/or Hungarian language classes 4 days/week.
Learning & Creativity:
Weekday lessons for children (5–14): Preparation for Elementary School, English, Hungarian, Computer Gaming.
3 art illustration masterclasses with 20 participants, creating hand-drawn illustrations for an upcoming elementary school textbook.
Cultural & Community Activities:
Traditional Easter crafts workshop (making Easter Rabbits).
Easter gifts distributed to 40 children.
6 new international volunteers hosted afternoon student programs with music, games, and pizza.
Supporting Ukrainian Educators:
4 part-time educators employed
3 hourly-contract educators
2 one-time honorariums for a graphic artist
Impact in a Nutshell:
This year, we combined learning, creativity, and cultural exchange to support Ukrainian refugee families in Budapest, nurturing skills, confidence, and community connections.
