Hello Donors,

Thank you for your donations that have been helpful in the implementation of ongoing projects in Africa. This update is to inform you of another completed project at Government Girls secondary school in Minna, Nigeria. We have completed a renovation of the school’s basketball court. The renovation included the installation of new basketball posts, including rims and backboards, and total resurfacing of the floor.

Around 30 students and 10 volunteers were involved in this project, lending time and labor over the past six months. Approximately 300 students and adults benefit recreationally from the renovated basketball court.

Aishatu the Principal at  Government Girls school Minna, extended a special thank you to TimeOut4Africa Foundation for enhancing the school’s basketball facility.  She also informed us that neighborhood kids and parents are also benefiting from the court restoration.

We will keep you posted on future projects and the impact of your donations. Please continue to support us at www.timeout4africa.com

Please stay connected with us on Facebook and Twitter at Time Out 4Africa and share with friends.

Thank you for your generous donation in support of the Timeout 4Africa Foundation. Our basketball clinic extended over 1 ½ weeks filled with activities to develop basketball skills. We had over 500 kids from 12 secondary schools compete and attend the educational clinic. Approximately 500 kids participated in the grand finale and award presentation ceremony. 75  of participants received award prizes from the Washington Wizards. All attendees received a Timeout 4Africa drawstring bag with school supplies. Competitions included interschool competition, free throw contests, 3 on 3 contests and 3 pointer-shooting contests. All winners received game jerseys, basketball sneakers, and basketballs. Trophies were awarded to the most improved player, most valuable player, and the winning secondary school. Additionally, over 500 Timeout 4Africa t-shirts were shared with parents, teachers, and community spectators.

Mr. and Ms.  Adams , parents of one of the participants, expressed their gratitude appreciation for the work that Timeout 4Africa is doing in the community. Additionally the parents were thrilled to share that the Foundation has positively impacted their daughter  and provides added encouragement for him to perform better in school.

Thanks again for helping us extend our work to reach more kids this year. You are helping us to change the lives of children and families. Please stay connected with us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TimeOut 4Africa. Please share our work with friends and continue to support us. Hello Donors,

Timeout4Africa Foundation continues to spread its mission all over Nigeria. In August our team made it all the way to Enugu in Eastern Nigeria. We partnered with Coach Chidozie and his team at the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium grounds for our " Growing the Game" series with 100 school kids.  Our team presented Coach Chidozie with 120 T-shirts,                   4 basketballs, and 3 pairs of basketball shoes.  The clinic was an instructional clinic where kids were taught life skills and  fundamental basketball skills. The students were encouraged to be good citizens and stay in school, and to practice the spirit of sportsmanship when they are playing sports.

Thank you again for helping us extend our work to reach more kids this year. You are helping us to change the lives of children and families. Please stay connected with us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and on our website at TimeOut4Africa.com.  Please share our work with friends and continue to support us.
