Hello Timeout4Africa family,
We are very excited to inform you that all is set for Our Annual Timeout4Africa Basketball and Life Clinic that will be held in November in Minna,Nigeria. Equipment, school supplies, shirts, and shoes have arrived in Minna getting ready for the week-long activities.
In August, two of Timeout4Africa Coaches, Mr. Nelly and Mr. Harrison, accompanied Hassan from Bahago Secondary School to Lagos to participate in the Giants of Africa Nike elite camp. The Gaints of Africa camp is the most attended camp for any Secondary school students hoping to get an athletic scholarship, allowing them to further their education and play basketball. Last year, Hassan was selected as the Most valuable player at the TimeOut4Africa clinic. Hassan's selection to participate in the Gaints of Africa camp was outstanding, as it was a way to highlight that Timout4Africa has student athletes who are focused and serious about learning skills of basketball. Also, Hassan's attendance at the Giants of Africa camp allowed one of Timeout4Africa's participants to be seen by coaches from the United States, who might be able to place him and other participants in US schools. The two coaches from Timeout4Africa that attended the Gaints of Africa camp were fortunate to learn from international coaches and were able to share their concerns about the challenges student athletes experience in Nigeria.
The Timout4Africa Foundation is very thankful for your continuous support of our projects. Please remember to continue to tell your family and friends about our work. We would not be able to positively impact lives without your donation to our projects. Visit us on our website at www.Timeout4Africa.com and like us on Facebook and Twitter at Timeout4Africa.
