Dear Donors,
With the drastic increase in dropouts in Lebanon, it was clear to the URDA's education team that we had to take quick action. Through this project, we managed to secure the education of 20 Syrian refugee students living in Beqaa. Most of the students were not going to enroll in school this year. The assistance covers the tuition and transportation fees completely.
Iman is a young girl who loves school, but her parents were unable to enroll her this year. Her father mentioned that he worries for his children's future because he is barely able to afford their basic needs. "These aren't normal times. It is about survival now. It pains me, but I can't afford to pay for Iman's education," said her father. Her and her family were very happy to recieve the assistance. "I was going to work this year to help my family. Now I can continue my education and work towards achieving my dreams," said Iman.
Thank you for your kind contributions and donations that will help us protect the future of Lebanon's coming generations. By continuing to support this project, you will give children a chance to continue their education.
