Thanks to your generosity, the Laboratorio de Artes Integradas continues to grow. We increased to 172 students, 93 girls and 83 boys.We also have more artistic disciplines, 21 disciplines, divided into 3 large areas: Fine arts, such as drawing, painting, arts & crafts and ceramics; Performing arts, such as theater and dance; and Music, such as percussion, cuatro, keyboard and singing. Among the new activities: Storytelling, Sewing, Cinema, Yoga, Improvised Theater and Creative Writing.
We want to highlight the Gallery of El Sabor, an exhibit of the art works of our students, in the steps of El Rincon del Sabor, in the slum José Félix Ribas in Petare, organized by the community leader Carlos Valbuena. For us is a big accomplishment and it was very admired and meant a lot to the community. We are very proud that our students took what they learned to their communities, this corroborates that the work of El Laboratorio generates an impact on the environment were our kids live and also for their family.
We are facing great challenges; however, with determination and team work we are capable and even more compromised to continue our work and keep this educational and artistic environment for personal growth through arts.
Once again thank you for your support and help us spread the word.
