Arts and hope for 180 vulnerable venezuelan kids

Queridos Donantes,

Desde el Laboratorio de Artes Integradas (LAI) esperamos que estén bien de salud.

Si nuestros 170 niños no pueden venir al LAI, el LAI va a ellos.

Debido a la pandemia y al riesgo de traer a los niños al Centro de Artes Integradas, decidimos crear el programa “LAI va a la Comunidad”, que consiste en llevar a los profesores a las 5 comunidades que atendemos con el objetivo de continuar la enseñanza de las artes integradas y reforzar las clases que se envían digitalmente.

 En diciembre de 2020, iniciamos este programa, llevando las clases de percusión, pintura, dibujo, danza, yoga y costura a las comunidades, con la esperanza de que este año podamos aumentar la cantidad de disciplinas y niños que atendemos por comunidad.

Para que nuestros niños aprendan a través del arte a desarrollar sus talentos y a ser mejores ciudadanos.

Esta semana, apoya al @labartesintegradas en la campana #LittleByLittle de @GlobalGiving, las donaciones de hasta $50 seran igualadas en un 50% y las donaciones mensuales serán igualadas al 100% por @GlobalGiving.

Con tu aporte podremos seguir llevando el Laboratorio de Artes Integradas a las comunidades, para que nuestros niños aprendan desarrollar sus talentos y a ser mejores ciudadanos a traves del arte.

At Laboratorio de Artes Integradas (LAI) we hope this report finds you healthy and safe.

If our 170 kids can't come to the LAI, the LAI goes to them.

Due to the pandemic and the risk of bringing the children to the Centro de Artes Integradas, we created the program "LAI goes to the Community", it consists of taking the teachers to the 5 communities we attend in order to continue teaching the integrated arts.

In December 2020, we started this program, bringing percussion, painting, drawing, dance, yoga and sewing classes to the communities, with the hope that this year we can increase the number of disciplines and children we serve per community.

For our children to learn through art to develop their talents and to be better citizens.

This week we are participating in @GlobalGiving's #LittleByLittle campaign, donations of up to $ 50 will be matched 50% and monthly donations will be matched 100% by @GlobalGiving.

With your contribution, we can continue to bring the Laboratorio de Artes Integradas to the communities, so that our children learn to develop their talents and to be better citizens through art.
