Goodbye 2017 and Hello 2018!

As we change the calendar from 2017 to 2018, all of us at Arts For All are thrilled to have had another full year. The fall semester of the 2017-18 school had an artful send off!

Thanks to supports like Amy Losak, teaching artist Vidho Lorville introduced kindergarteners at PS 76 in Queens to Haiku poetry using visual arts. Students participating in Literacy Through the Arts, an arts integration program for grades kindergarten through second, brought stories and songs to life. Kindergarteners made their own jingle bell shakers, first graders made puppets for Where the Wild Things Are, and second graders wrote poems about winter and made Winter Window displays.

2018 promises to be a big year! There are several Artistic Residency Programs in the works across all five boroughs. We are also pleased to announce that, thanks to New York State Council on the Arts, Literacy Through the Arts will expand to PS 163!

In 2018 Arts For All turns ten! Keep an eye out for how you can be a part of it, celebrating ten years of programming and ensuring many more years to come.

Thank you once again for your continued support of our mission. Without your help, we would not be able to reach thousands of under-served New York City children with our accessible arts programs.
