Spring 2023 Activities So Far Newsletter

By Felix M Reyes | Development Associate

As we're now well through our Spring 2023 activities, we at Arts For All want to share with you, our GlobalGiving community, some brief updates in terms of what has been going on programatically so far this year!

1) So far in Spring 2023 we've been delivering our Artistic Residency Program in visual arts, narrative storytelling, poetry, multimedia projects, movement, drama, sculpture, and music to our students at Corlears School, PS69, PS163, Renaissance Charter School in Jackson Heights, Weeksville Elementary, PS310, and Williamsnburg High School of Arts and Tech. So far since January we've delivered about 150 in-person workshops and 40 virtual workshops. These numbers will go up as we wrap up the remainder of the Spring semester gonig into the end of June.

2) With our Literacy Through The Arts program we've been able to so far this Spring provide 120 in-person LTA workshops and 35 virtual workshops in interactive storytelling, literature, dance, exploring different cultures, drama, and theater between all of our LTA partners Renaissance Charter Schools in Jackson Heights and Maspeth, PS15, and PS163. These numbers will go up as we wrap up the remainder of the Spring semester gonig into the end of June.

3) Thanks to new funding support we've received from The Pierre and Tana Matisse Foundation and The National Endowment for the Arts, we've been able to expand and deliver more ARP and LTA programming to our schools partners, in which by the end of the the Spring semester we anticipate delivering our programming to anywhere between 600-1000 mote students then we normally reach in a given school year.

4) We have planned more virtual programming such as additional Voice Power sessions later this Spring and more Monday's with Mé, so as the Spring semester progresses please make sure to follow us on our Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter accounts to learn more about when these videos will release in the coming weeks.

As always, thank YOU for always supporting our organization, what we do, and we hope you enjoyed reading this brief project report and will consider making a contribution this Spring to Arts For All!

Sincerely,
Anna Roberts Ostroff
Executive Director
