Title: Winter & Food Packages Distributed to Flood-Affected Families in Buner
Summary
Alkhidmat Foundation distributed 200 winter and food packages among flood-affected families in District Buner, providing essential relief to help them cope with harsh winter conditions and ongoing food insecurity.
This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s continuous flood response and winter relief efforts across Pakistan, through which thousands of vulnerable families have received life-saving assistance since the floods.
Story / Update
Severe flooding in Buner damaged homes, destroyed livelihoods, and left many families struggling to meet their basic needs. As temperatures dropped, the situation became even more difficult for flood-affected households living in damaged or temporary shelters.
To address these urgent needs, Alkhidmat Foundation organized a relief distribution drive in Buner. Each of the 200 affected families received winter and food packages containing essential food items for daily meals along with warm supplies to protect them from the cold.
This timely assistance helped families secure food and warmth during a critical recovery period. Community members shared their appreciation, noting that the support brought much-needed relief, dignity, and hope during challenging circumstances.
