Flood-affected families in Pakistan are now struggling to rebuild their lives. After emergency relief, thousands still face damaged homes, unsafe water, and lost livelihoods. Alkhidmat is supporting rehabilitation through shelter repair, water scheme restoration, and livelihood recovery. Your continued support will help families rebuild with dignity and long-term resilience.
Severe monsoon rains, cloudbursts, flash floods, thunderstorms, and lightning-worsened by climate change, deforestation, and natural calamities-have devastated Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Over 802 lives are lost, 904 people injured, and 10,000 displaced as homes and crops are destroyed. Families now face hunger, unsafe water, and disease outbreaks, making urgent relief essential to save lives
This project will provide urgent relief to 10,000 displaced people with food, clean water, medical care, and temporary shelters. Alkhidmat teams are on the ground delivering meals, ration packs, and mobile health services to prevent disease outbreaks. In the recovery phase, we will help families rebuild damaged and destroyed homes, restore livelihoods, and support long-term community resilience.
By meeting urgent food, water, and medical needs now, this project will reduce deaths and suffering among displaced people. In the longer term, rebuilding homes and restoring basic livelihoods will give families stability and dignity. While recovery will take time, these efforts will help communities become safer, healthier, and more resilient to future floods.
