Title: Alkhidmat Building Homes for Flood-Affected Families in Buner 

Summary

Alkhidmat Foundation is actively constructing homes for flood-affected families in Buner, Sawat,Shangla , KPK under its Flood Rehabilitation Program 2025.

A total of 50 homes are being built for vulnerable families who lost their houses during devastating floods. So far, 8 homes have been successfully completed, while the remaining houses are currently under construction.

Story / Update

The devastating floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa caused massive destruction, leaving countless families homeless and struggling to rebuild their lives. Many affected families lost not only their homes but also their sense of security and stability.

To support long-term rehabilitation efforts, Alkhidmat Foundation launched a housing initiative in the flood-affected region of Buner . Under this project, 50 safe and durable homes are being constructed for deserving families who were severely impacted by the disaster.

The construction work is progressing steadily, with 8 homes already completed and handed over, while the remaining houses are under different stages of construction. These homes are designed to provide families with secure shelter, protection from harsh weather conditions, and a renewed sense of dignity and hope.

This initiative reflects Alkhidmat’s commitment to helping disaster-affected communities rebuild their lives and move toward a more stable future.

Alkhidmat Foundation provided winter supplies to 100 flood-affected families in District Buner, helping them stay safe and warm during the harsh winter season.

This activity is part of Alkhidmat’s ongoing flood relief and winter response across Pakistan, focused on protecting vulnerable families who continue to face severe hardships after floods.

Story / Update

Following devastating floods in Buner, many families lost their homes, belongings, and sources of income. As winter set in, these already vulnerable households faced additional risks from extreme cold, particularly children, women, and the elderly living in damaged or temporary shelters.

To address this urgent need, Alkhidmat Foundation organized a winter relief distribution in Buner. Each of the 100 flood-affected families received essential winter supplies, including warm bedding, clothing, and other items necessary to protect them from cold-related illnesses.

The distribution brought immediate relief and reassurance to families struggling to cope with winter conditions. Beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude, sharing that this support helped them protect their loved ones and endure the cold with dignity.
