Since our last update, we have continued taking small but important steps toward creating a safer, more secure sanctuary for the hundreds of rescued dogs who call Pawsitive home.
Over the past few months, approximately $60 more has been contributed through this fundraiser. While we still have a long way to go toward our larger expansion goal, we believe every donation deserves to have a visible impact.
These recent funds have gone toward purchasing approximately 100 bricks for the boundary wall currently being built around our sanctuary land.
For a sanctuary caring for more than 400 rescued dogs, a secure boundary is essential. The wall will help fully enclose our land, keep our dogs safely within the sanctuary, and create a more protected environment for the many injured, disabled, and vulnerable animals in our care.
It may seem like a small step toward a much bigger dream, but every section of this wall brings us closer to the sanctuary we are working so hard to build. Brick by brick, the land is becoming a safer home for the animals who depend on us.
Our long-term goal remains the same: to create a permanent, fully equipped sanctuary with dedicated medical and rehabilitation facilities, recovery areas, and safe spaces designed especially for our paralyzed and disabled dogs.
There is still so much work ahead, and we cannot do it alone. If you are able to donate or share our fundraiser, you will be helping us continue building this sanctuary, quite literally, one brick at a time. :)
Thank you for continuing to believe in this dream and in the animals we are building it for.
