By Amita Seth | Founder, Pawsitive Sanctuary
When we launched this fundraiser, our dream was to build a fully equipped sanctuary with medical and rehabilitation facilities for our 425+ rescued dogs—especially the 125 paralyzed dogs who depend on us every day.
So far, we’ve raised approximately $700. While this is still far from our goal, we want to be fully transparent about how these funds have already been used.
With your support, we were able to:
• Set up temporary sheds to provide immediate shelter
• Cover essential labour costs for installation
• Create safer, shaded spaces for our most vulnerable dogs
These sheds are already making a difference. Dogs who were previously exposed to harsh weather now have a place to rest, recover, and feel safe.
This is just the very first step. The need for a permanent sanctuary—with medical care, recovery areas, and safe mobility spaces—remains urgent. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us move closer to that reality.
If you can, please continue to support or share our fundraiser. Together, we can build something life-changing for them.
