Walked with allies

By Doreen Fwambo | Project Leader

One of Casa ILORI's main commitments is to promote the rights and responsibilities of children through education and upbringing, for this reason we have been holding workshops on Human Rights, aimed at ILORI mothers in order to promote respectful upbringing, supportive and empathetic.

In this same line of Human Rights, the ILORI children participated in the Health Fair, organized by the La Carpio Health Area, in which they were measured, weighed and activities related to health promotion were carried out, through games .
We also had a training called "Let's learn about our emotions" aimed at first and second grade ILORI children in order to reinforce the ability to process emotions.

On the other hand, we participated in a walk organized by the La Carpio School on November 25, which commemorates the International Day Against Violence against Women, this participation is part of our commitment to the eradication of any type of violence.

During the first week of December, we visited the ILORI children at the VMWARE company facilities, where the children received English tutoring.

To end the year, we held a Christmas party in Parque del Este for the 250 ILORI children, in which we had inflatables, games, walks, and gifts. This annual closure is very important for the team and our beneficiaries, since it is the moment where all the children can meet and enjoy themselves, since for some of them, this is the only party they will have at the end of the year.

As you can see, we continue with our alliances and accompaniment with other institutions and companies, which is very important to continue our path in defense of Human Rights, which is why we appreciate that you are also part of this process through your support.
