Working Together

At Casa ILORI, we continue to weave alliances with various sectors that collaborate in the construction of this big project. Part of the meaning of a supportive education is to create intersectoral spaces, for which we continue to provide spaces for children and the community by organizing activities from Casa ILORI.

During this quarter, a group of young people has been training on issues related to entrepreneurship and human rights from an intersectional and empathetic approach. The space is the union of the Foundation and Glasswing International. For us and the community, they are very significant tools since the process has helped this group to create enterprises in their community or strengthen the small businesses they already had.

Other activities that we highly valued was the one carried out by students at the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas (UCIMED) in the framework of their university community work to graduate, which focused on giving workshops on various topics related to health and care aimed at mothers, children and adolescents.

We also continue with our alliance with UNICEF since 2021 with the "Espacios Seguros" programs which have been developed at Casa ILORI, this time we had a meeting with institutions that implement the "Espacios Seguros" program in other communities.

And finally, the children who are in sixth grade about to graduate have begun to make the traditional memory album, which aims to recover the experience and time they have spent at Casa ILORI.

Each of these activities reinforces us as a Foundation and program since at ILORI we value teamwork and inter-institutional work and we believe that in order to achieve social transformations in the community of La Carpio and in the lives of children, it is necessary to work together. That is why we appreciate and value your support and donations to this project.
