I thought after all the heaviness and sadness I shared over the last week I would show you some pictures from our camporee which was held 22nd to 27th September.
Firstly, we trained 20 adults plus some of our Rovers in Introduction to Adult Leadership. Which means we have more adult volunteers for the province who will start groups or will be assistants in the groups.
Then we held our Camporee which is basically a competition and an opportunity for the Scouts to showcase their scouting skills. It was full of excitement and a minor level of mayhem as you can imagine.
During the Camporee we also held a cub skills day, which consisted of arts and crafts. Which was great fun, and the kids were amazed at all that was happening for the Camporee.
It was full of love and laughter and such good fun. Your support was what made this happen. The kids come from very impoverished backgrounds and so coming to camp is often out of the reach of parents, however your sponsorship contributed to all of the fun and learning.
I hope you enjoy the photos and the video, the link is below
Blessings to you!
Louise
