The GOD'S CHILD Project

The GOD'S CHILD Project's mission is "to break the bitter chains of poverty through education, housing and healthcare." While GOD'S CHILD is rooted in education and health-care, we aim to support the communities we serve at every level of development. Through our wide range of programs, we help children and families living in extreme poverty to meet their basic needs and find a restored sense of hope, self-worth and human dignity. Religious affiliation is not a requirement for any program services.

Programs

The GOD'S CHILD Project is an award-winning international charitable network that provides foster care for orphaned children, schools including special education schools, operates Central America's only year-round homeless shelter open to the general public, a hospital for malnourished infants, medical and dental clinics, crisis intervention and legal assistance to victims of domestic violence and home abandonment, and the Institute for Trafficked, Exploited & Missing Persons (ITEMP); an international borderless anti-human trafficking prevention, detection, rescue and rehabilitative services. GOD'S CHILD operates programs in Guatemala and El Salvador Central America, India, Malawi Africa, and the United States. also sponsor children in El Salvador, fund school construction in Malawi and an orphanage in India. The GOD'S CHILD Project is now in it's 25th year, and has always been fiscally responsible, spending less than $0.10 of every dollar on admin and salary costs for every year of operation. Our direct-to-program expenditure is higher than the vast majority of charities operating today, so that we can help the most children possible. On any given day, 13,700 impoverished people in the world could walk through our doors for assistance.
