Thanks to your generous donation, GHC will be shipping 600 Clean Birth Kits to Myanmar, to ensure a clean birth and avoid infection. These kits are critical in rural, remote locations in the country, where there is often no access to a health clinic or clean birthing environments.
Due to the current civil war in Myanmar and GHC's inability to enter the country, GHC will need to go through northern Thailand and ensure they are placed in the hands of those who can deliver the kits in remote areas of the country.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity in 2021~

Dear valued donor,
Thank you again for your generous donation to the Beirut Healthcare Relief Fund.
Patty Williams, our founder and president, was unable to travel to Beirut, Lebanon as was noted in our last report.
Ms. Williams was traveling there on business and had planned to deliver a check to the hospital staff at St. John's Hospital and Rizk Hospital, as well as the Maronite Missionary Church, to be used to alleviate the local health care providers' ongoing needs following the devastating port explosion on August 4th.
But great news! She will be delivering the check today (Wednesday, Sept. 8th) in New York during a meeting with the Lebanese American University-St John Hospital in Lebanon.
Thank you again for your generous donation. The need is ongoing, and we will provide an additional information and feedback once it becomes available. We apologize for the delay in delivering this aid due to COVID travel restrictions.
Warmest regards and gratitude,

Myanmar Midwife & TBA Education
By Susan McAdams - GHC Board Member
Dear valued donor,
GHC is working on providing a training course with materials to midwives and Traditional Birth Attendants (TBA's) in northern Myanmar, although travel and transportation to the country is difficult at this time due to multiple factors.
We are currently discussing ways in which this training can be delivered electronically, as was done with our recent COVID19 training held in Myanmar in January 2021. This session was very successful and paves the way for future training for health care professionals.
Thank you for your generous donation. Thus far, $126 was raised. This campaign is still open, so please share with friends and family! We will let you know as we make progress!
