Ecological Ovens - Eritrea

The project "Ecological ovens" comes from the need to improve the efficiency of the traditional Eritrean oven- the Mogogo. Talking of facts, the energy performance of the traditional Mogogo is less then 10% and it is estimated that it consumes 50% of the Eritrean wood. As it has no fumes collection system, these ovens can have serious health repercussions, causing respiratory and eyes diseases to people and livestock. The new ovens will provide a sustainable and safe way of cooking. project reportread updates from the field
