CRY FOR HELP FROM PARTLY BLIND CHILD IN KGF

Cry for help from partly blind child in KGF

Project #38220 from Balajothi Centre for the Disabled Trust

Funding goal : $5000 / Funds raised to date : $1110

Project Report due on : Feb 13, 2021 / Report sent on Jan 19, 2021

This is the sad story of Ramu (name changed) a disabled child from a very poor family in Kolar Gold Fields. He lost his vision after a medical complication when he was an infant of two months. With great difficulty his parents managed to get his eyes operated but it was not successful and he is now able to see only blurred images. Another operation was scheduled but his parents are unable to pay for the same. The doctors are confident of success with the second operation. Balajothi aims to help this partly vision impaired child gain complete vision with help of surgery.

After surgery and rehabilitation the child will be able to see as any normal person. This will be a great help to his poor parents and greater joy to see that their child would be able to see the world and face challenges in life on his own.

Balajothi and the child’s parents are thankful to YOU, DONOR, for your generous giving of $1110 to date towards this cause.  These funds will be utilized when the COVID-19 situation eases.  Also we are working to ensure the medical process is complete before this attempt is made.  THANK YOU DONOR for your concern for the underprivileged disabled community.

Balajothi thanks GlobalGiving for their constant endeavors to support underprivileged familes around the world through their funding help.  Thank you GlobalGiving for your sustained guidance and motivation to Balajothi !!

Funding goal : $1000 / Funds raised to date : $430

Project Report due on Feb 22, 2021 / Report sent on Jan 18, 2021

Sumitha (name changed) is doing very well given the existing stressful conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.  She is safely tucked away inside her small hut and has been made aware of the dangers of the corona virus lurking outside.  Although she is inclined to run around and play outdoors she is now listening to advise by the healthcare people from Balajothi visiting her home and hopes the pandemic will go away so that she can be a free bird once again.  We are in full agreement with her.

Kavya, and her poor parents, thank YOU, DONOR, for your generous giving of $430 to date against the funding goal of $1000 projected for her rehabilitation and training.

Balajothi thanks you, donor, for your continued donation towards this noble cause of caring for the underprivileged children with special needs, more so during this difficult economic situation.  THANK YOU DONOR !!

Balajothi thanks GlobalGiving for their constant guidance and encouragement to our institution and in motivating us through webinars and educational programs throughout the year.  THANK YOU GLOBALGIVING !!
