Summary

This project will support Civic Force's response to the powerful magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Turkey on February 6, 2023. Civic Force's emergency response team, ARROWS, is dispatching to the disaster site and conducting needs assessments in collaboration with Turkey-based NGO, GEA. ARROWS will work with GEA to provide search-and-rescue operations, medical assistance and emergency relief item distribution. Challenge

A powerful magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck southeastern Turkey on February 6, 2023. There are thousands of dead victims and search-and-rescue operations continue.

Solution

Civic Force is dispatching an emergency response team including medical and program staff to provide assistance based on the needs.

Long-Term Impact

This project aims to assist in the search-and-rescue operations in collaboration with our local partner and to provide much-needed assistance.
