This event is an annual commemoration conducted world over as a reminder to end Gender Based Violence. As awomen rights organisation (WRO) we jpoin the rest of the world to fight GBV in the 16 days from 25 November to 10 December.
The appeal for support is to aid in these campaigns.
In 2023 we did not receive enough support to conduct the activities we had planned. We hope this year the appeal will reach more well wishers to donate.
The 50 dollars we received wwas used to buy food stuffs for a mother and her children.
Gender based violence continues to be a scourge in the communities we serve. The community is rife with artisinal miners whose aboard is sporadic. They live nomadic lives and away from their spouses for long periods. This creates incidence of GBV in the homes,
We continue to solicit for support as we approach another season of 16 days against GBV for 2024.
