Youth Talents for the Digital Future

Even though we haven't received a single donation for this project since April 2024, we refuse to give up! We believe that the Film Festival "Volunteering - that's what MOVIE is about” will happen, and we are determined to organize film workshops with an amazing filmmaker who has a gift for encouraging young people to step in front of the camera. Last year's festival proved how important this initiative is, and we managed to pull it off with the support of local governments. But this year, we are still lacking the necessary funds!

Why does it matter?

We want to equip young volunteers with clip-on microphones so their films sound more professional. We are also planning film workshops, which will take place in the open air as soon as spring is in full bloom – because nature is the perfect backdrop for inspiring stories! Through this experience, young people not only learn filmmaking but also gain confidence, public speaking skills, and teamwork experience. And when they see their own film on the big screen, they will feel empowered, knowing that their voice matters. This will be a tremendous boost for these young people – something they truly need!

This year, we aim to welcome 8-10 volunteer groups to the festival. This is a huge opportunity for young people from rural areas to experience the magic of cinema and share their stories. But we can’t do it without support from donors like you.

Nie poddajemy sie!

Mimo ze od dluzszego czasu nie otrzymalismy zadnej wplaty na ten projekt (ostatnia darowizna wplynela w kwietniu 2024), nie rezygnujemy! Nadal wierzymy, ze Festiwal Filmików o Wolontariacie "Wolontariat – o tym sie MOVIE" moze sie odbyc i ze uda sie nam zorganizowac warsztaty filmowe z niezwyklym twórca, który ma dar zachecania mlodych do wystepowania przed kamera. Ubiegloroczny festiwal pokazal, jak bardzo takie wydarzenie jest potrzebne. Udalo nam sie go zorganizowac dzieki wsparciu samorzadów lokalnych, ale w tym roku wciaz brakuje nam srodków!

Dlaczego to wazne?

Chcemy wyposazyc mlodych wolontariuszy w mikrofony krawatowe, aby ich filmy brzmialy profesjonalnie. Planujemy równiez warsztaty filmowe, które, gdy tylko wiosna rozkwitnie pelna zielenia, odbeda sie czesciowo w plenerze, bo to wlasnie natura daje najlepsze tlo dla inspirujacych historii! Mlodzi ludzie ucza sie przy tym nie tylko sztuki filmowej, ale tez pewnosci siebie, wystepowania publicznie i pracy zespolowej. A kiedy zobacza swoje dzielo na duzym ekranie, poczuja, ze maja moc sprawcza i bedzie to wielkim wzmocnieniem mlodych ludzi. A tego im bardzo potrzeba!

W tym roku chcemy zaprosic 8-10 grup wolontariackich. To ogromna szansa dla mlodziezy z malych miejscowosci, by doswiadczyc magii kina i opowiedziec swoje historie. Ale bez wsparcia darczynców moze nam sie to nie udac.

The Volunteer Film Festival “Volunteerism - it's what you MOVIE about” is a year-long activity that has its finale every June. At that time, we invite groups of young volunteers from 8-10 rural schools in the region to celebrate with them their hard work and successes in independent action. Now, we are preparing young people to create videos, holding filmmaking and storrytelling classes so that young people try to tell their story of helping through images.

Thanks to your support, we can operate regularly and not worry about running out of funds to travel to schools or conduct classes. For this we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

It's a secret for now, but we want to purchase and donate tie microphones to each of the schools participating in the Festival. School halls and corridors are very acoustic, and it is difficult to record videos in such conditions. And we don't want poor sound quality to make the wonderful, spontaneous storytelling of young activists difficult to watch and listen to. Hence the idea to purchase tie microphones. We want each volunteer group to be able to use a professional microphone to record videos about their group's activities.

Przygotowujemy mlodych do Festiwalu

Festiwal Filmików o Wolontariacie „Wolontariat – o tym sie MOVIE” to caloroczne dzialanie, które ma swój final co roku w czerwcu. Zapraszamy wtedy grupy mlodych wolontariuszy z 8-10 szkól wiejskich z regionu, aby wspólnie z nimi swietowac ich ciezka prace i sukcesy w samodzielnym dzialaniu.

Obecnie, przygotowujemy mlodziez do tworzenia filmików, prowadzimy zajecia filmowe i storrytellingowe, aby mlodziez próbowala opowiedziec za pomoca obrazu swoja historie o pomaganiu.

Dzieki Twojemu wsparciu mozemy dzialac regularnie i nie martwic sie, ze zabraknie nam srodków na dojazdy do szkól, czy na prowadzenie zajec. Za to z calego serca dziekujemy!

To na razie tajemnica, ale chcemy kazdej ze szkól bioracej udzial w Festiwalu zakupic i przekazac mikrofony krawatowe. Szkolne sale i korytarze sa bardzo akustyczne i trudno sie nagrywa filmiki w takich warunkach. A nie chcemy, aby slaba jakosc dzwieku sprawila, ze cudowna, spontaniczna opowiesc mlodych dzialaczy bedzie trudna do ogladania i sluchania. Stad pomysl na zakup mikrofonów krawatowych. Chcemy, zeby kazda grupa wolontariacka mogla skorzystac z profesjonalnego mikrofonu do nagrywania filmików o dzialaniach swojej grupy.
