Amplify Hope Africa, in partnership with Creakids Learning Centre and Adeskills Kenya, successfully implemented and concluded a three-month Life Skills and Solar Installation Training Programme between May and August 2026.
The programme equipped 30 students with a combination of personal development, employability, entrepreneurship, and practical renewable-energy skills. Training was conducted every week and used an integrated approach combining life skills development with practical solar installation training.
Creakids Learning Centre provided the training space and students, Adeskills Kenya delivered the technical solar component, and Amplify Hope Africa coordinated the programme and supported implementation. Various facilitators contributed specialized knowledge across the life skills component.
The programme provided participants with opportunities to strengthen communication, teamwork, leadership, goal-setting, employability, problem-solving, and personal development skills while gaining foundational knowledge and practical exposure to solar photovoltaic technology.
