Many young people lack the skills, confidence, and opportunities to become effective leaders in their communities. This project will train 200 youth in leadership, decision-making, teamwork, and civic engagement to empower them to positively influence their schools and neighborhoods.
Youth often face social and economic barriers that limit their participation in community decision-making. Without leadership skills and mentorship, many remain passive, struggle with self-confidence, and miss opportunities to drive positive change in their communities.
This project will conduct leadership workshops, mentorship sessions, and practical exercises for 200 youth. Participants will learn communication, problem-solving, project planning, and civic engagement skills. Follow-up activities and community projects will help youth apply these skills in real-life settings, building confidence and leadership capacity.
The project will create a generation of confident, responsible youth leaders who actively participate in community development, inspire peers, and contribute to stronger, more cohesive communities. Over time, this will improve youth engagement, civic responsibility, and social cohesion.
