MOJE intends to support 50 young people with limited resources in rural areas of El Salvador, so that they can have a real opportunity to obtain income through the development of an enterprise and thus prevent them from being a victim of violence or having to emigrate. to another country. We mainly want to address the problem of violence that affects youth in the department of Cabanas and that in recent years is affecting rural areas, it is a complex and structural problem that has not been resolved in the country for decades. Working on prevention and providing the youth of Ilobasco with safe spaces to develop their work and skills is essential, since otherwise the alternatives are migration or gangs.
