I hope you are doing well physically, psychologically and mentally. It's important to take care of our well-being, especially during pandemic days. It's equally important for the women leaders in the community.
Hong Kong is a crowded and high GDP area. Our apartment is very small but expensive. During the pandemic period, carers have to stay at home with kids and family members together. They need to serve as housekeeping, teachers, and technical support. Migrant domestic workers are the same. With the request by their employers, they have to stay home and no chance to meet friends during the weekend. Organizers of the organizations/groups are very stressed because they need to fulfil the funding requirements while they can't hold any activity. They have lots of work to care for the community but no time and energy to take care of themselves.
We see well-being, self-reflection of using power and leadership style, etc. are important elements to be a feminist leader. We seldom have space to pause, reflect and listen to our inner self. We created an opportunity for women leaders to come together to do collective care, to reflect our way of thinking and doing.
One workshop is not enough. It's a long journey to make it sustainable. It is impossible to achieve it without your donation support.
Please invite your friends, colleagues and company to DONATE and support the grassroots and marginalized women leaders in Hong Kong.
