We believe that raising women's leadership skills and their organizational development bring a better impact towards their programs to achieve gender equality. Women leaders in marginalized and grassroots organizations will join different inspire workshops, core training and mentoring program to learn leadership and organizational development skills e.g. governance, project management, finance management, communication, resource mobilization, well-being, etc.
In order to have sustainable impact of one's work, capacity building is crucial. Grassroots and marginalized women (sex workers, low income women, ethnic minority women, young mothers, lesbians, trans-women, elderly women, etc.) are often situated in a disadvantaged position that they are unable to access resources to acquire knowledge and skills. They are being disempowered to see themselves as inadequate and lack confidence to lead, often they play the role of sub-ordinator and follower.
Leadership and organizational capacity building is an empowering process for them to re-define themselves, to see their ability to change and to improve their situation. HER Hub has 3 components : 1. The Inspirer - inspire learnings, practice reflections and thematic workshops. 2. The Core - provide organizational capacity building programs on that based on integrative learning to targeted women's groups' leaders. 3. The Energizer - professional individuals as mentors to bring in resources
1. To strengthen organizational capacities of grassroots, marginalized and emerging small women's groups/organizations for delivering sustainable impact and social change. 2. To cultivate, collaborate and mobilize resources from private and professional sector to support grassroots and marginalized women on building their capacity and organizational growth.
