The Angel Projects of Uganda's Elderly Project continues to grow, and the women who are receiving services are continuously becoming healthier and much, much happier!
Caroline is continuing to do very well with the use of her new crutches. She is getting around much more easily, and the pain in her hip has been significantly reduced. Caroline continues to receive medical attention; for instance, she was recently ill and was tended to by The Angel Projects' caring staff members. They helped her around her house and cooked her nutritious meals from the healthy ingredients they had brought her, nursing her back to health. The staff members enjoy spending time with Caroline and listening to her stories.
Staff members also visit Yudes, and they enjoy helping her around her homestead. Yudes often needs help with cooking, cleaning, and bathing. She is very grateful for the support she receives from the Elderly Project.
The Elderly Project is a very important part of The Angel Projects' mission to empower women in Uganda. First of all, the project provides widows and other elderly members of the community with no familial support the help they need to live out their final years in health and happiness. Also, this project provides jobs for younger women in the community who have been hired on as staff members to help with the medical support and daily care of these older women. The staff members and the elderly community members have built strong bonds because of the Elderly Project and have become like a family.
The Angel Projects is so happy to support members of the community who are often overlooked and who are in desperate need of assistance. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all our donors who make this mission possible.
