There is a lack of good quality affordable healthcare for the poor in Pakistan, resulting in unsafe child-birth practices and lack of proper medical attention for children. Family health is at peril too, and unfortunately low family income means that government hospitals are the only available option, other than quacks. Your Zakat will enable Medicare to keep serving the poor, staying firm on our policy of refusing no one treatment on financial grounds. With funds available, for underprivileged populations, we will conduct Normal Deliveries, C-Sections, Medical check-up of Children to provide preventive and curative care, and ensure the general health and well-being of the poor.
Around 200-300 non-affording expectant mothers will deliver their babies safely, and around 3000-5000 children will get their medical check-up for preventive and curative care. Additionally, around 5,000 patients will get medical care at our hospitals
