Dear Supporters,
Over the past months, we have significantly intensified our winter relief efforts for vulerable groups in Ukraine in response to the ongoing energy crisis caused by Russia’s attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Thanks to the support of many donors, we have achieved the following:
Mama-Mobil in Kharkiv: 124 vulnerable people — including 104 internally displaced persons — have received blankets, sleeping bags, and thermal mats to protect them from freezing temperatures.
Support for families in Kyiv: Families with two or more children were provided with gas or kerosene heaters to keep their homes warm. Additionally, 40 households received power banks and electric blankets to cope with prolonged power outages.
Emergency shelters in the Kharkiv region: 53 shelters were equipped with food supplies, gasoline for generators, gas cookers, and other essentials to ensure warm spaces and hot meals during blackouts and heating failures.
More information about our work can be found on our website.
None of this would have been possible the solidarity and trust of our supporters. On behalf of all the people we have been able to support, we sincerely thank you for standing with Ukraine.
With gratitude
Leonie Ruesch
