In view of increased shelling since 29 December 2023, we intensified our emergency aid efforts in Kharkiv. Our aid encompasses mobile soup kitchens, emergency supplies for night-time attack victims, and food and hygiene packages for internally displaced persons. We make sure to support the most vulnerable people and adapt our aid to individual needs!
Since 29 December 2023, Ukrainian cities, particularly Kharkiv, face intensified shelling by Russian forces, resulting in civilian casualties, damaged infrastructure, and millions lacking essential services amid freezing temperatures.
Libereco has been active in Ukraine since 2014. We help the most vulnerable and help fill the gaps in humanitarian aid. This project provides flexible and needs-oriented emergency aid in Kharkiv. We currently provide mobile soup kitchens, emergency supplies for night-time victims of shelling, and food/hygiene packages for internally displaced persons. We continuously assess the situation and adapt our aid to help those most in need!
By providing vital aid and support, this project aims to alleviate suffering, improve resilience, and contribute to the long-term stability and recovery of affected communities in Kharkiv.
