While summer is in full swing, our focus is already turning to the cold months ahead. In our previous report, you’ll find detailed figures on the winter relief we provided during the harsh 2024/2025 season. Thanks to your support, we were able to help people in Kharkiv region withstand freezing temperatures and energy shortages.
However, the challenges are far from over. Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure continue, and the upcoming winter is expected to bring great humanitarian needs. Cold weather increases vulnerability: people require more calories to stay warm, while food prices rise and heating costs soar. These factors are pushing more families into food insecurity and forcing them to rely on humanitarian aid for survival.
For the coming winter, we plan to provide vulnerable groups in the Kharkiv region with essential winter supplies to help them maintain body heat and stay safe during the freezing season. Items like thermal blankets, warm clothing, heating fuel, and food parcels can make a vital difference.
Our preparations are already underway— coordinating with local partners, and identifying those most at risk. But in order to support as many people as possible, we depend on your donations. Your continued support allows us to act timely and effectively to support people in need.
Thank you for standing with us.
