School is out for summer but the Back-to-School Drive is just beginning. In an effort to equip 41,000 Bay Area students from low-income families with the tools needed to succeed in the classroom, we need your help! Consider running a Drive during our 2019 Back-to-School program to help so many students in need.
Drive Leaders are Family Giving Tree’s grassroots leaders in the community. Whether you’re at a private organization, a public company, or a group of friends, you can still make an impact in this easy way. These individuals go above and beyond to solicit and collect physical backpacks and monetary donations on our behalf. Then they bring everything to FGT’s Back-to-School Warehouse for our wonderful volunteers and staff to process and distribute to our partner schools across the Bay Area. It’s a great way to get the whole team involved in giving back to the local community.
Simply sign up on our website, register your group, request the number of backpack tags; adding a virtual giving option, if you like; and you are set. We will mail the materials to you or download them on our resources page. Together we can ignite the imaginations of so many Bay Area students!
