Wheels of Hope

Dear Supporters,

Across Pakistan, persons with disabilities continue to face barriers that limit their access to education, employment, and community life. A wheelchair can remove many of those barriers, making it possible for individuals reach opportunities and live with greater independence.

Over the past few months, we have successfully distributed a total of 109 wheelchairs to individuals with disabilities. Of these, 45 were distributed in Karachi, 38 in Buner, 11 in Hyderabad, 14 in Sujawal, and 1 in Sukkur. Through our team in Islamabad, we were able to reach flood affected individuals in Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to provide mobility support.

Abdul's Journey of Hope

There are moments that transform not just one life, but an entire family’s future. Abdul, a 13-year-old from Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was born with Cerebral Palsy which limited his mobility. Yet his passion for learning never wavered. Every day, his father carried him to the local madrasa; an act of love and perseverance that masked their deep emotional and financial struggles.

During our Buner flood outreach in September 2025, we met Abdul and witnessed both his determination and his family’s hardship. We provided him with a wheelchair, giving him the freedom to attend school independently and explore life beyond his home. The team also helped him obtain his disability certificate and supported the family with ration supplies.

Today, Abdul rides proudly to his madrasa each morning; in that simple change, his family’s world has transformed.
