Project Name: Water4Life – Nepal Safe Drinking Water Initiative
Implementing Organization: Al Ehsan Charitable Foundation Nepal

Milestone Achieved:
With immense gratitude to our generous donors, we have successfully completed 100 water installations (hand and electric pumps) across underserved regions of Nepal. These life-saving water sources are now benefiting hundreds of families, reducing disease, and restoring dignity.

The Need Isn’t Over:
As we celebrate this major milestone, 17 more urgent requests from water-deprived villages remain. These communities still struggle daily—children walk miles, women wait hours, and the water they gather is often unsaf

Urgent Appeal :

We now need to install:

15 Hand Pumps ($180 each)

2 Electric Pumps ($500 each)

Total Needed: 17 water systems

These 17 points will provide clean water to over 1,500 additional people, including children, elderly, and people with disabilities.

Thanks to your generosity, the past 75 days have been transformative for many communities in Nepal. Through the Water4Life initiative, we have successfully installed hand pumps and electric water pumps, ensuring safe drinking water for families, schools, and entire villages.

Key Achievements:

Hand Pumps Installed: 12 units, providing clean water to [X] families.
Electric Water Pumps Set Up: 3 systems, ensuring a sustainable water supply.
Total Beneficiaries: Over 1500 people now have access to clean water.

Water4Life: Handpump for Drinking Water in Nepal

Project Overview:
The Water4Life initiative, led by Al Ehsan Charitable Foundation Nepal, focuses on providing safe drinking water through handpump-equipped wells in underserved areas.

Progress Summary (As of January 2025):

Total Wells Drilled Till Date: 80

Regions Covered: Rural and remote communities across Nepal.

Primary Beneficiaries: Over 1,500 households (approximately 9,000 individuals).

Donated Through: GlobalGiving

January Highlights:

New Wells This Month: 7

Impact: Improved access to clean water, reduced waterborne diseases, and significant time savings for families, especially women and children.

Training: Local volunteers trained in handpump maintenance for sustainability.

Challenges:

Difficult terrain and resource limitations slowed progress in some areas.

Acknowledgment:

We extend our deepest gratitude to our donors, partners, and supporters who continue to make this mission possible. Your contributions through GlobalGiving have brought hope and health to countless families in Nepal.

Looking Ahead:

Our goal for the coming months is to drill an additional 22 wells, aiming to reach a total of 200 wells by mid-2025.

We are also planning hygiene awareness programs in collaboration with local schools and community leaders.
