Exciting news! We have just received a grant from Water For Humanity in the amount of $5,000 USD. This is enough for us to dig the well!
We signed all of our contracts today and we begin drilling on June 25th. We are beyond excited and HUGE thank you to everyone who has helped thus far. Of course photos and details will come later.
As we still have a long way to go to finish installing the full water system at Peace Demonstration Farm (which includes a solar pump, water storage tanks, tank stand, and drip irrigation system) I'll be updating this project regularly with our new needs and developments.
