In early September 2013, Water For People-Honduras staff and partners evaluated the successes and challenges of the past year at the Honduran Water and Sanitation Network workshop. During the workshop, they presented the ways in which we measure the impact of our programs in the districts where we work. One of the best and most effective ways we’re able to measure our impact is by using the Akvo FLOW (Field Level Operations Watch). Water For People-Honduras presented on our partnership with Akvo for use of their FLOW tool to collect, analyze and report monitoring data regarding the condition of water and sanitation projects. But the workshop didn’t stop there! The group also discussed Water For People’s new approach to sustainable sanitation.
